About Us
Getting to know RCCG Light House Assembly Hackney
Who We Are
RCCG Light House Assembly Hackney is a Pentecostal Christian church based in Hackney, East London. We are part of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and are committed to helping people know Jesus Christ, grow in their faith and discover God's purpose for their lives.
Our desire is to be a welcoming, Christ-centred and Bible-believing church where people from different backgrounds can come together to worship God, experience His presence and build meaningful relationships.
Our Vision
We believe that every person has a God-given purpose and that the church has a responsibility to help people discover, develop and fulfil that purpose.
We seek to build a growing community of believers who are rooted in the Word of God, empowered by the Holy Spirit and equipped to make a positive difference in their families, communities and wider society.
What We Believe
At the heart of our faith is Jesus Christ. We believe in the authority of the Bible, the saving power of Jesus Christ, the work and presence of the Holy Spirit, prayer, worship and the importance of living a life that reflects Christ.
We encourage everyone to develop a personal relationship with God through prayer, studying His Word, fellowship and practical Christian living.
A Church for Every Generation
At Light House Assembly Hackney, we value every generation. Our church family includes children, teenagers, young adults, families and older adults, with opportunities for people to learn, serve, worship and grow together.
We particularly value the development of children and young people, helping them build a strong biblical foundation while equipping them to navigate education, relationships, careers and the challenges of modern life with faith and confidence in God.
Our Community
We believe that church is more than a Sunday gathering. It is a community where people can find encouragement, friendship, prayer and support.
Through worship services, Bible teaching, prayer meetings, outreach, fellowship and community activities, we seek to share the love of Christ and be a positive presence in Hackney and beyond.
You Are Welcome
Whether you are exploring Christianity, returning to church, looking for a church family or simply seeking a place to worship and grow in your relationship with God, you are welcome at RCCG Light House Assembly Hackney.
Come as you are, meet our church family and join us as we seek to know Christ, grow together and fulfil God's purpose.
